During his tenure from October 2022 to August 2026, Victor’s leadership and initiative was paramount to the revitalization of the orchestra’s future. Victor Anstine has taken the Akron Pops Orchestra to new heights as a staple of popular music culture in the Akron area, and beyond. Forging new partnerships, scholarships for Akron music students, and performing opportunities for communities, the orchestra experienced newfound popularity in the Akron area and beyond. Performing at the storied Akron Civic Theatre as Akron’s favorite annual Holiday, and spring film music & silent film with live orchestra presentation tradition.
